 UKCK Team Challenge.
This was the 5th year of the annual UKCK team challenge, with 33
fighters from all UKCK clubs selected into teams, competing for 1st 2nd
3rd and 4th place awards, over a period of 4 weeks.
All the teams and individual members, gave an excellent performance of
top quality sparring, with members that had never fought or competed
before, to the members that were experienced.
I would like to pay respect to all the members that competed, and to
all the officials for your dedication and commitment to organising
and officiating this event, and to the parents relations and
friends for
your support and attending this tournament to encourage them to do
the best they can,

For the first time in the history of this event, we had a surprise
result, when the Warriors team that were in third position in week
four, made a tremendous effort to increase their over all score, in
which they did.
In the final week of the tournament, they managed to improve on
their performance, and finish in joint second position.
The results are as follows;
In 3rd place with a score of 110 points, Team Ninjas,
in Joint 2nd place with a score of 147 points, Team Warriors, also
in joint 2nd place Team Samurai,
and in 1st place with a score of 224 points the winners, for the
fifth year running, Team Dragons, well done guys!!!
