A handful of places are still available for tough
guys and girls to take on an Army assault course in a fundraising
challenge for disabled children’s charity BDF Newlife.
The charity was looking for teams of six people from companies in
Staffordshire, Shropshire and the West Midlands to try the course at
Whittington Barracks, in Lichfield, on Sunday 16th September 2007.
A firm favourite as a corporate challenge against other teams, the
course will really test and push teams physically and mentally as they
tackle the challenges of the day.
Teams from Birmingham law firm Eversheds, Concept Saab in Sutton
Coldfield, Midland Expressway Ltd in Lichfield, European Textile
Recycling in Stafford and UKCK Martial Arts Association clubs in
Hednesford have already entered.
Teams will be raising money for BDF Newlife and particularly disabled
children and young people in each region that need vital pieces of
equipment. The day will be run by Army instructors who are providing
expert tuition and all the specialist equipment required.
The cost to enter a team for the event is £120.00 made up of £20 per
person and any sponsorship the team can raise. The cost also includes
a certificate and t-shirt for each team member acknowledging that they
have completed the course.
